The founders were quite familiar with the often wasteful instrument life cycle process of big pharma and were subsequently able to identify an opportunity to simultaneously mitigate the inefficiencies in this process while also addressing the instrumentation needs of smaller companies by purchasing equipment from laboratory liquidations, then refurbishing, reselling, and supporting the equipment at a very affordable price.

Initially run out of the founder’s garage, Prodigy had its genesis as a small lab equipment refurbishing and tech support operation in a genuine effort to bridge this gap. Having worked for years in instrumentation support services for a number of global pharmaceutical and biotech companies

such as Sciex, Agilent, Shimadzu, Thermo and Waters, we have a uniquely qualified staff
with technicians, engineers, and application scientists trained in a diversity of platforms
enabling us to support a wide array of laboratory instrumentation. We specialize in
analytical chemistry, drug discovery and development, life science, and toxicology
applications with a particular expertise in Mass Spectrometry
LC-MS, LC-MS/MS GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, HPLC, and FPLC.
In addition, we also offer refurbished and certified pre-owned microplate readers,
liquid handlers, centrifuges, as well as a variety of peripheral laboratory instrumentation
from industry leading manufacturers.

Our experienced personnel provide enhanced services that include maintenance and/or service contracts, repair services, validation services, and a variety of on-site customized training programs. Our professional service engineers have extensive experience with HPLC, GC, GC/MS and LC/MS service as well as application experience in Thermo, Waters, Agilent, Shimadzu, Leap Technologies and Sciex platforms.
